After 1 year this is finally going to be fixed and no more rattle for us all.

The rattle is caused by the wastegate actuator rod rubbing back and forth on the wastegate and can be quite annoying. Now as the tsb above states vw only covers 2008 2010 mk6 gtis. Boost pressure is applied to the canister and once the boost is higher than the spring pressure inside the canister the wastegate actuator rod starts to move and open the wastegate.
